Hk trip with my best friend for 8D7N (30 september 2014 - 7 october 2014)

1st october

Woke up at 7 am on our second day of the trip feeling excited.

Itinerary for today:
1)Breakfast at Kam Wah Cafe, famous for its polo bun(47 bute street, mongkok)
2)Ngong Ping 360
3)Citygate Outlet Mall
4)Dinner at Yung Kee roasted goose, requires pre-booking online or by calling and confirmation one day before prior to the reservation date(32-40 wellington street, central, hong kong)

1)Reach Kam Wah Cafe with the help of google map. One of the mistake we made was that we thought that its famous signature polo bun would be definitely be in its set menu provided for us. So without looking at its set menu properly, we made the wrong order.

Set menu comes with :a hot tea/coffee(cold drinks additional of 2HKD)
:a bowl of noodles(nissin noodles, additional 5HKD and also udon at an                                                additional price of 5HKD as well)with 6 different kind of meat "(beef satay, ham, char siew, forget, forget, forget) to choose from
:a plate of side dish(one egg, one sausage, one ham)
All at a price of 30HKD.

Although we were already feeling full, but we were not satisfy as we did not get to try its famous polo pun. So after having the meals, we order 1 of its famous polo bun each.

THE FAMOUS/SIGNATURE POLO BUN. Dont be deceive by the look of this humble polo bun. It really taste very nice. The top crust smell and taste good with bits of crunchy texture on top.
I would recommend you guys to eat when its hot.
Comes at 9HKD per bun.

2)Ngong Ping

Demonstration that we saw on our way to the mongkok mtr station.

The mountainous view in hong kong

Crystal cabin.
Fun fact: Crystal cabin have a pole in the center of the cabin, and as you can see below, there is no pole in the center of the cabin which also means that its a normal cabin.

On our way to ngong ping. As you can see, there is actually a route below. People can actually "trek" their way up to ngong ping. But if your really want to "trek" your way up, do prepare some trekking equipment as the walk there is very very very long. The cable car ride itself is around 20-30mins.

The flight of stairs to reach the Buddhist statue.

3)PS: Didn't take picture of city gate outlet mall. Its basically a shopping mall selling branded stuff.
I would highly recommend shoppers to go as some of the branded stuff can be found at a cheaper price over there.

4)Yung Kee for dinner

These are the only 2 dishes that we order as the price was consider exorbitant for us. The total cost of these 2 dish plus hot tea came up to about 208HKD.
We wanted to order more as we were a little bit "paiseh" for spending only 208HKD at such a fine restaurant, but the manager already took away the menu after the arrival of our food.

It was also my first time eating goose in my whole life. Personally I really like its skin. It is really good but for the meat, I find it abit hard to chew. Is the texture of goose meat like this?

That's the end of our 2nd day as we proceed back to our hotel to rest.
